Default Foggy Foglight Lenses...WTF?

Hey, all! Was just checking out my car after a nice road trip, and noticed that my foglight lenses look like SHIAT! I thought it might be road grime, as I spent most of the day on wet stretches of highway. Tried to wipe it off, and no dice! What the hell is this crap! To say the least I'm pissed, as the driver side one looks like it is completely fogged over, and the passenger side is 1/2 covered (and no, it's not condensation). This is totally unacceptable, and I'm heading to the dealership first thing tomorrow morning to show them. No way I'm letting Ford try to weasel out of this. I didn't pay extra for the Pony Package just to have this happen in less than a year on the road. Anyone else have this issue? I did a search of the site, but only found one other post on the topic, with no replies. Surely there can't be just 2 of us with this issue. Let me know, as I plan on writing to Ford and complaining about this if it hasn't already been done.

Peace!
Scott

Went out and checked mine, they were hazy, but it wiped off. I'd try some windex and a towel before I raisedheck at the dealer.

If its inside condensate, leave em on for a while to "dry" them out.
I think the owners manual covers this inside fogging condensate problem.

Kudos to themac5150! I went out the next morning armed with Windex and some paper towels, and the problem was solved. It seemed like the day before, the stuff just didn't want to come off. I guess spit and a fingertipreally aren't recommended cleaning products, LOL!

Peace!
