Default the shakes

hey guys

ive been on forums for almost a year now and this is my first question so bare with me. i have an 07 v6 mustang. i bought it from myself (i worked at a dealership) back in july. i did some exhaust work on it near christmas time and now i have two questions. first, i really like the side exhaust that comes out infront of the back tires. anyone have any advice on how i should go about either custom cutting pipes or buying it from somewhere? and secondly since the exhaust work (i took the muffler off hahaha) ive heard a lot of interior rattling. is this normal?

thanks guys
Aaron

dont buy the cervinis side exhaust ... unless you plan on doing a lot of extra work.. no clearance... i think thats the same reason theres not a lot of kits out there.. like roush.. becuase our cars are lower than previous models and theres no room.

Did you just take off the muffler, or did you remove the pipe from the Y also? If you took off just the muffler, there is nothing supporting the pipe from the axle to the Y pipe. It can very easily rattle. The Y pipe has hangers, the muffler has hangers, the pipe going back has no hangers andwas supported at each end, clamped to the Y pipe and muffler. You can buy themuffler delete kit, thats just a bent piece of pipe with hangers, or have a shopmake one. Thatwould secure thefree end of the mid pipe.

yea i read something about that. i just need some kind of exhaust and i have access to a great pipe bending place that will let me do whatever i want for cheap. i was planning on modeling it after the roush. does anyone kno of a muffler with single inlet duel outlet that lays vertical under the car? i used to have one on my camaro but itran sideways under the car.

I wouldn't bother with side exhaust on these cars, it's more of a headache if anything. Look into the FRPP dual exhaust package.
