well then why is NTOff advertizing it as a 05 and up GT bumper when its the 99-04 year silver
Well, since I don't work for them, geez, I don't know!

All I am saying is according to Ford, Satin Silver is extinct as of 2008. This year is when they developed the Silver Metallic and it is different than the Satin Silver. If your car (like mine, paint code TL) is called Satin Silver then you need Satin Silver.

I would say NTOff is somewhat misleading, as the bumper is indeed a 2005+ gt takeoff (bumper did not change styles and will fit 2005+), but the silver metallic coloris dated 2008. I would guess and say it is a generic ad and all they have recently updated is the color choices.

Call newtakeoff or ninosport and ask if they have any scratched or blemished parts that need to be repainted. They most likely do and will sellthe bumper to you dirt cheap. Satin Silver is discontinued and these stores will most likely not be restocking that color. Your best bet is to buy a blemished part and have it repainted.

If your color is in stock and you pay the full price then is there a good chance it's in perfect condition? I'm ordering a full GT body kit in alloy, and I don't want to have to repaint it when it gets here. Anyone know?

If you pay full price for the bodykit it should be in good condition. Any imperfections will be minor andshould be fixable by handwith some polishing compound such as Scratch X or something similar.

Ok sounds good. I've got some extra Quixx Scratch Remover just in case.
