Jeez,
We have compound curves on the bumper cover surface we are dealing with.
The Pypes template works if you place it in the proper location. Use the
license plate indentation corners as reference points and also the bottom plastic
edge mold dimples to position the FLAT piece of paper. OR you may trace the
existing opening, flip the paper, and use that to make your cut.
Happy cutting,
Bob

You are welcome Texcan. Beautiful vert, however it would look so much better without the body side molding. It's the protective strip that is put on all rental cars to keep folks from dinging your side. The problem is it interferes with the body design and flow. From what the guys on here say,it's very easy to take off. Just use some fishing line with some saw motion and it will come off. Now that the weather is warm would be an ideal time to do it. Use some Goo Gone to remove any glue residue.

Yes I hear you 07Stang. Trying to get my wife to go along with the removal of the rental strip. Maybe I'll show her this post and make her change her mind. Not to get off topic, but I think we aready have. I'm looking at a hood scoop on flea bay. It says it's a roush scoop, and I wounder if it's the same as what comes on the GTs. Would ya'll be able to have a look and see what you think. The first 2 pics I don't think are the right one they are selling, but the third looks right to me. Also I plan on asking the seller if it bolts on alongwith the 3m tape? Here is the link:

Texcan,
As far as the midpipe goes, Rockauto is the cheapest I found when I
was looking. Might want to watch evilbay and Craigslist as they pop
up every so often. Or, take a printout of Rockauto's price and see
if the local Ford stealership can match or match +10-15% you would
still be further ahead. Don't forget you'll need to tap the two frame
hanger mounting positions holes on the driver's side for the new
hangers to bolt to the frame. (8mm threads). Either use one of the
old 6er hanger bolts to self tap or buy a tap.
