Does anyone knowhow to advance the timing on the v6s???

May I ask why you want to advance the timing?

Disconnect the battery for ten minutes then reconnect, so the PCM can re-learn.

Yes, but that but that will only work if you first disconnect the accelerator cable.


Try disconnecting the battery first and suggested and see if that helps.

Reset the adaptive learning by disconnecting the battery for awhile.
