When done right *Sand, Prime, Thin Coat* its just as effective as powder coating. just be sure to take your time putting them back in. Its sort of a pita to do it with out scratching them

That or let them dry good before you put them back on, I put mine back on in a hurry and got away without scratching them! I'll take some current pictures a little later.

This is a cool idea, but I'm a bit lost on the specifics. Here is Duplicolor's page of products, and there is no product line named "High Heat." My best guess would be Engine Paint, but there is no Redfire option, just a bunch of generic ones. Ford Red seems like it would be a bright color, rather then the dark maroon look that your pics show. Perfect Match would work, but that says nothing about being high heat. Which one should I be looking for?

The engine paint will work, I think thats what I used idk where I got high heat from. There is no direct color match, I just eye balled it and you can't really tell its different. It just looks darker in pictures because its under the hood in the sun you can't tell the difference. I'll see if I can get updated pics later just been lazy.

Yep. Duplicolor Engine Paint. Kragen's had it in Ford Blue. Almost 3 years and no fading, chipping, etc. It's all in the prep. SAND, SAND, and when you think you're done SAND some more. Prime it. Spray the Duplicolor in thin coats letting each dry before the next. It's time consuming dude, but wurth it!!!!!!!!
