Default PCV line removal

Before I go trashing my car, is there a trick to disconnecting the PCV hose from the valve cover? Does it just pop out? I am installing an S&B intake.

I have the same intake and love it. The pcv hose should have a button on it the will allow you to just pop it off of the valve cover. It's either a button or a clip I forget. I haven't looked at one in a few months. It's really simple to do though.

Thanks, that did the trick. I just installed my S&B. Really simple job, the whole thing basically fell out of my hand into it's place.

So you like your intake? I notice a slight gain already. However, I am wondering HOW such an intake is an advantage over the OE intake. They seem like they are of the very same concept, and yet these intakes supposedly give you 5+ horsepower.

Well the way the intake is setup is less restrictive and with the casing around the intake it's allowing the intake to keep the warmer air out and take in the colder air coming in from the front of the car. If you get a tuner too you will really notice a big difference with the cai.
