What's the BFD? You gotta get your stuff there and towing with your car is the only you've got to get it there. Just do it.

Don't worry, according to the owners manual the car is rated to tow 1000 lbs. Just get a good hitch! Mine was $120.00 but that was 3 years ago. Your right, don't listen to most of these pansies because they only care how there car looks and know nothing of the mechanical abilities of the V6 Mustang. The Mustang is a very versatile automobile. I too have seen small trailers behind Vipers and Corvettes.

hey what type of hitch did you get to fit the mustang? did you have to cut your bumper? or is it under it?

I have seen it in person!!! I saw a GT pulling a flat bed trailer carrying a riding lawn mower and misc lawn care equipment. It looks funny as HELL!!!

I have to agree that the mustang wasn't designed to tow - you buy a truck for that if you're doing it on a regular basis. But I would also say that as a one time trip AND if you drive carefully it should be ok.

LOL This reminds me of a post from yesteryears "Stop" (it's your car so I think you can do whatever you want with it) "Go" but the yesteryear post got people fired up and the funniest post reply was someone said "you aught to loss your Mustang License for doing that" LOL Good Luck Sir
