Default T-Lok & 3.73????

I really want to get them. I have the money to get them now but I keep hearing they are almost impossible to put on by yourself and a shop would cost $700-$1000 to do them. Any truth to it?

Thanks

my install cost was $320. ur gonna need more than just the gears and posi. u'll need fluids and a new bearing kit which together will cost another $100+. for something that is critical to making your car move, i feel much better having a professional do it. dont try to cheap out by installing urself unless you know exactly what ur doing. I successfully installed gears on my Cobra and have been working on cars for a while although it was my first gear install I had to start somewhere. I do recommend taking it somewhere to get it done for about $350 because it is no simple bolt on.

I paid $700 bucks for parts & labor. That is probably where you are getting that number from. I would recommend having a professional install them.
