Thats what I did - put the Stang in the garage for fun driving and bought an 03 Focus to drive just back and forth to work.

And a Focus, while not as cool as a 'stang, is definitely cooler than a Prius (unless your friends are all enviro-fanatics, in which case NOTHING trumps a Prius)

Im filling up the mustang about 3 times from monday through saturday. Im averaging about 22-23 mpg, but its still killing me, i did the math and i figure ill save about $350 a month driving the prius. What do you guys think would be a fair trade in price? I went on kbb and it said $13,000 that kills me because i paid about 21,000 for the car. I was hoping to get about 15,000 for it, also the car is in perfect shape, not a scratch or dent i took vey good care of it. If you guys could let me know i would appreciate it, thanks!

Well, how about a compromise...keep the stang and buy a cheap Prius.

This one should be pretty affordable (could probably get it for a pair of used flip flops), gets great gas mileage and has plenty of trunk space!!

That might be out of my budget LOL! Im giving it some serious thought into what i want to do. I love my pony, their's nothing that make me happier then looking forward to drive the stang after a hard days work. But gas is killing me, so im going to give it some thought and we'll see what happens.

If you love your Torch Red Pony Package as much as I do then hopefully you'll find a compromise. Find a 4-banger beater and keep the stang if you can.....find a place to live closer to work or vice versa...... something. I know how tight money can be sometimes so good luck in your decision.

No such thing as a CHEAP prius ;-) they're all over priced as far as I'm concerned :-)
