c&l intake ????

Default c&l intake ????

my buddy got a c&l intake from a guy offline. he just wanted to make sure he got all the pieces. hes got the filter, heatsheild, intake tube and couplers is there any hardware that was suppose to come with it ????

That sounds like what came with mine but there might be other pieces depending on the model.

ok now the heat shield doesnt fit does anyone know what the deal is is anything different with the 05 to his 07 the break lines are in the way of the heatsheild working any suggestions???

I would say you have been had. Do you have the manufacture name and part number..of the unit that was purchased? Go to their website to see if you have the correct model to fit your engine, plus will tell you the parts list. Will the MAF sensor mate to the CAI tube?

Ya, something is not kosher. If it's the right one, it slides right into place. This is the easiest mod I ever made on my 07, and it only took me 15 minutes to remove my crappy Ebay one and install the C & L Intake, AND install a 93 race tune on my SCT XCal 3 tuner.

He's going to need a tuner before he can run that intake in his car, if it is the right one.

Bama Chips sells both intakes for the GT and V-6...you can check there as well.
