Default Pypes Mid Muffler System INSTALLED

Holy cow was that a PITA.

Anyway system is installed, just need to take it to the shop so they can bend the drivers side hanger and line up the drivers side tip to the passanger side and help find the rattle coming from the rear on the passanger side.

Even w/out the 4" tips on it right now ( due to mis-alignment ) the system sounds real good. Can't wait till it breaks in. Maybe Sunday if I can figure out how to record video on my camera i'll post some sound clips.

I have the same system on mine and I love it, I get compliments all the time as to what it is and that they love the sound. So far it has been the best exhaust I have found as far as sound..I think so at least. I also know what you mean about the tips not lining up and the rattle. I thought I had found it once but it came back so I have to look again. I am sure you will love your system as well!

USN S197, were you able to align the tips yourself or did you end up taking it in somewhere. I can't get them to line up to save my life.

I had tried for hours to try and get them aligned right when I installed it and could not get them to line up, so I got them as close as possible. Right now it is very hard to tell unless you get down eye level or if I am on a slope. I have a different bumper and tips I am going to put on just have not had the time plus I need an exhaust shop to move the tips inward so I am waiting to have the tips aligned. To get them perfect the best option is probably to go to an exhaust shop.
I still have a bit of a rattle that I am trying to find (I have an idea of where it is) so I imagine when I take it to the shop to have the pipes moves it will fix it.
How do you like the H pipe, I went with the X pipe.

I love the H pipe. The butt dyno tells me that I did loose a little of the low end torque but it still gets up and goes when I need it to. Plus I'll be getting the C&L and tunes as the next mod so I'm sure that will help me out as well. I found and kinda fixed my rattle over the weekend. It's coming from the rear hanger on the passenger side. I used some old vacuum hose that I had laying around and put it on the pipe hanger to keep it from rubbing on the car hanger, I can still kind of hear it so I'll probably double up on the hose for more separation. I measured my tips this weekend as well. The drivers side is 1/2" higher than the passenger side but they both appear to stick out the same amount.
