Default Taking off strip on the side

I'm at 24,000 miles and I want to take the Mustang strip off the side of my car. Should I even attempt this or will the paint be noticeably blatant? I don't park in a garage so it's left outside in the sun and I think its going to turn out as a different blue, like just out of the factory instead of the 24000 mile "blue".

Thoughts?

There shouldn't be any difference in the paint. I took my stripes off at 23,000 miles and I don't park in a garage either. You can't see any difference at all.

My Conversion van has silver stripes on the side and is cracking after 74,000 miles. I want to remove them but I know it's going to be a long and patient process. I guess I can soak it with some Goo-gone and use a hair dryer to try to peel them off. What do you guys suggest?

i took my stripes off by myself at 35000 miles, so simple a 4 yr old could do it by accident.
the paint doesnt look any different, my car sits outside all day everyday
Though when i wash my car, when theres water where the stripes used to be, you can read out where the word "Mustang" were.

wait are you talking about the decal stripe? or the lil door ding strip?

my 07 windveil blue at 13,000 miles DID HAVE A DIFFERENCE

its always kept in the garage too, there were one very thin line on each door where the bottom of the strip was, but its barely noticable and now the line has just about faded back to match the rest.

in the end its all good.
