not ricey as long as its proportional, for ANY car. its purely an appearance mod as previously stated that falls under the same category as side/window scoops and louvers. just because the shaker kit is functional doesn't mean your car will benefit by any significant amount. if you got the cash for the shaker, do it. if not and you're more interested in the look of the scoop, just get the stick on.

I don’t get the point of fake scoops, enormous wings on street cars, dual exhaust post y-pipe, oversized wheels that only serve to reduce braking ability and ruin the suspension balance.
Why add non-functioning clutter to a well engineered vehicle?
I understand that some people like to add decoration to their cars. Hell, I even saw a car that had about 200 plastic army men glued to its hood. Too each his own I guess.

What purpose do wheels, louvers, shorties (antennas) serve? Nothing... Its an apperance mod, as long as its tasteful and compliments the car then, its all good.

Alot of it is just making the car look good, sure i would like a functional hoodsoop but thats more than i want to pay for something so insignificant, so i get the next best thing.

There are plenty of scoops out there that are functional. Why go with one that isn't?
