I am 16 with and my rates are not too bad... Its 120$ a month and I have good coverage, my parents wouldn't get bad coverage. When they first quoted the car they were saying 180$ and then when they bought the car it dropped to 120$ somehow... We didn't say anything since looking at all the papers everything is correct!

My parents and I are all on State Farm and I am the primary driver of the Mustang since my parents believed that would be the most honest so if anything did happen, there would be no problems.

the main reason your rates arent that bad is because u have a v6. V8's have higher rates.

"the main reason your rates arent that bad is because u have a v6. V8's have higher rates."

I was assuming he was getting a V6 since its in the 4.0 section.

"holy **** dude. i dont even understand how u get it that cheap for being the primary driver.."

good question! But its location also... living in a small town supposedly helps a lot, good grades, etc

"how much higher are v8s?"

I was quotes 280 a month through the same place... so that wont happen unless im put under a different car.

*to clarify* I meant I was quoted 280$ a month for a GT so my parents were not going to do that unless I was reported as the main driver of one of their vehicles.
