the Throttle Body of the V6 is like 2.75" ( i think, i don't remember) so i don't see any reason to put a CAI of 4" if the Throttle Body is only 2.75".. i think a CAI of 3" will be just perfect, cause the engine will breath freadly... also when i ordered my X-calibrator X3 brom bamachips, i talked to Doug and he asked me if i was sure that my CAI was 3" and not bigger, cause he didn't have any tune for a CAI bigger than 3"..

its still better to get a name brand CAI unless you really know how to fabricate. definitely look into the VMP package. if you dont have any mods yet, consider the power package that includes CAI, custom tunes & gt take-off muffler. it seems that most want to fabricate a CAI just to save money but in the end, most want what's best for their stang and that includes good name brand products.

VMPtuning.com has the least expensive cai/tuner package available for $479.00. Talk to Justin at (321)206-9369 or online at vmptuning.com I use this package with a FRPP dual exhaust and the car runs hard. Really wakes up the Mustang V6.
