Exclamation is it a big mistake

well long story short i have the 4.0 mustang pretty much stock. when i was on my way home my gas light came on and i didn't have any money but about 5 bucks in the center console. so i rushed to the gas station and put in gas. all to realize that i put in 93 instead of 87. it was only about 1.5 gallons. so should i worry or should i just put in my usual?

no...93 won't hurt your car at all.

You can go higher in octane than you are tuned for, it is when you are tuned for 93 and put 87 in that you can have a problem.

Im assuming your young. 93 octane/87 octane, doesnt matter as far as your car is concerned... your wallet, thats a different matter.
