so lets see...let me know if i have this down.

87 Perf: Daily Driver Tune
93 Torque: Use for Street Driving for higher torque gains
93 Perf: Use at the strip ONLY if im not on the nitrous.

You say if im going to use the nitrous i should be using the 87 perf tune instead of the 93 perf tune? (until i get the 93 race tune specified for my nitro)

First I would say you should speak with your tuner to get his expertise and advice. You can use any of the tunes as your daily driver, its just a matter of personal preference. IMO with your current tunes the 87 perf tune with a 93 octane in the tank is your safest and option. If your not planning on running the 93 tune around town and will be running the nitrous only at the track then I would replace it with a 91 or 93 oct nitrous tune. You shouldn't have to pay to make the change.

I dont understand why a 93 perf tune wouldnt be better than an 87 perf tune if i have 93 in the tank. Doesnt the 93 perf tune yield greater gains?

Yes, sorry for the confusion, on the street or track the 93 perf tune is going to be the strongest performer.
I was comparng your street options to your nitrous options and meant to say "safest option with nitrous" in the second part. Since you don't currently have a nitrous specific tune 87 perf w/ 93 in the tank is safest option. As long as you have 93 in the tank then you can run the 93 perf tune and reflash to the 87 perf tune to make nitrous runs.

Alright cool. Thanks alot for the help.

When i order the SCT and where it asks me what tunes i want, would the "nitrous tune" be the one labeled as race tune. Theres, performance, torque and race so i assume race would be the one for my N2O?

Probably not, I've only ordered through VMP but you probably need to order a custom tune, you need to be able to specify nitrous, turbo or s/c for example. You may have to contact them first to get a reference number or something so they know what the specific customization details are that you are ordering.
