Default rear badge

How easy is it to remove the rear badge to paint it black or where can you buy one that is already black

Well i would think that you would take it off the same way you would take off the side badges. just heat the tape up and then use fish wire to remove the tape. Its really easy to paint though. I just painted my a black chrome type finish.

It comes off easy but the reinstall would be a biatch
as there is a die cut piece of 3M emblem adhesive tape
that would be difficult is even impossable to recreate
unless you got it from the stealership. It is not flat on the
back but has recesses that require an OEM piece of 3M
tape to reinstall. Tape it off and paint it on the vehicle.

My buddy told me there is little clips on the inside of your trunk.

Your buddy is wrong, there are no clips.
If there were, they would be impossable
to get to them from inside the trunk.

I agree with just taping it off and painting it. It isnt worth the time to deal with taking it off/reattaching it!!Just tape it VERY carefully and make sure there is no way your going to get paint on your...paint job.
