well it snowed pretty hard today along with some slush and freezing rain...and my car would squeak everytime i came to a stop and it was loud sounding like it was coming from a belt??is that possible it would squeak for 30 seconds then stop but it would do it almost everytime i came to a stop..is it just a wet belt??

 

I would bet, a wet or worn wet belt.
Check for the radiator deflector down
in front of the bumper lip. Is it missing?
