Default Where to lift the car

So I was sitting outside for a long time reading the dang manual and it says to lift the car under the notch. I've located the notch but then when I go to lift the car I can't figure out where to put the jack.

Here is my crappy paint shop of the underside where the notch is.
The black strip on the left is the side skirt, the grey in the black represents the notch.
The strip A, and strip B represent different areas to possibly put the jack (area A is lower to the ground than area B). The Black dots in A/B are just holes I noticed. Where do I put the jack?! A or B??

Sorry this is such a dumb question but I'm no mechanic or anything and I dont want to end up with a jack going through the car heh.

Just locate the frame of the car. I would recommend trying to jack it up from the front of the car. jack it up from the frame on even ground. What kind of jack are you using?

Hydraulic Jack to put some new tires/rims on... one at a time since I only have one. The manual says to lift it under the notch but it doesnt say where to lift it and I DONT want a freaking hole through the car lol, and the jack is too tall to fit anything between the jack and the car (cant use 2x4 or anything)

I did a Google search for "location of jack points for Mustang 2005+" and came up with some other forums answering your question. I'll see if it will let me link you to one;

Maybe just PM me before asking these
semi-silly but necessary questions?

BTW never by the rear end pumpkin.

Pull it up on a wooden block to get the jack under.
