Air deflector on V6?

Air deflector on V6?
Hey there. Last year, I hit a big tire tread in the road and it broke my lower bumper. I did a good patch job on it, repainted it, and threw on a new lower grill insert and a CDC chin spoiler. My question is, does the V6 have an air deflector below the radiator/behind the bumper like the GT? Or is the bottom of the radiator supposed to remain naked to the elements? And if the deflector isn't standard, is it possible/advisable to use the GT version on the v6?

Thanks, guys. Second question - will the GT deflector, or even that Roush one TX ZStang suggested, fit on my car without any crazy modifications? My radiator took a big ding, and it would have been nice to have that extra little bit of protection.

I doubt that the GT deflector or even the Roush deflector (which may be the same as the GT part) will fit with the v6 bumper. I installed a GT front bumper on my sixxer and the bottom of the GT bumper wraps under the car and has holes drilled through it to attach to the deflector. The v6 bumper doesnt wrap around or have a flat bottom for the deflector to attach too like the GT bumper has. Also, the GT bumper extends lower then the v6 bumper.

I doubt you radiator took a big ding unless you dont have an AC
condensor coil in front of yours. I would think your AC condensor
took all the damage. Dont follow so close to other vehicles and
a stone deflector is not needed.

Yes, you're right, it was the condensor coil, my bad. FWIW - the tire tread flew across the center divider from oncoming traffic on the 405. There was no one in front of me for at least ten car lengths. And with a combined speed of over 100 mph, there was no time to swerve without creating an even more dangerous situation. Trust me, I'm not the tailgating type.
