Hey all, I just ordered a 06 yesterday. torch red, 5 speed, pony package, interior and exterior upgrade package. They said 6 to 8 weeks. I have heard there is a way to track the build progress at Ford. Any truth to that?

Congratulations. Here is how to go about tracking your new car (i got this from allmustangforums.com from another post):

You will need to know the following to call ford an check on the car. Also, tell them you work for the dealer that you orderd the car from:

1. Your dealer code (the dealer number)

2. Your order number given to you by the dealer

3. Your body style (t80 for v6 t82 for v8)

4. The year of you car (eg 2005, 2006)

Once you know all that give them a ring at this number 1-800-962-3746
This is the VOPC number and its for dealers only.
