Winter Tires and Wheels
#12
I havent put my winter set on my car yet, I do not have TPMS sensors in my winter set, if the chime is continuous it will drive me crazy.

It happens once and then its over until the next start-up.
Do you have the Upgraded message center or just
the basic cluster. It makes a big difference
howthe stang handles a low tire pressure alert.

whats the difference on how it handles it?
I have the basic cluster....my car is as base model as you can get (except auto trans)
i can deal with a flashing light
and a chime at startup....continually = no thank you!

dont bother with looking for steelies. I was gonna go that route not sure if they even exist, just find a set of stock rims, u can get a good deal. ck ebay and craigslist. i went with 01 rims because i could get them for 150. offset is different but they look decent and do the job.

if you have to deal with that, find an old truck for 1000....it serious is the best way to handle it. I have my dads old 88 dodge 4x4 since i have to be able to get to work no matter what in the winter. Best and cheapest solution for me. I have FR500s and all seasons on the stang only because of the summer tires and low temps dont mix.
