Its the same concept, just whether or not it gives you problems which could end up costing you more.

I'm looking at a set of Pypes headers and while I don't expect too much from then, they're inexpensive and have to offer *some* benefit.

Anyone with specific experience on the Pypes headers...whadda ya think of 'em?

The Pypes headers are a great choice.

True. I guess I was just thinking about it like the concept of everybody saying that all cold air intakes are the same(inexpensive ones(ebay$20-30) vs expensive ones(k&n)). This is actually the first time I'm going cheap (price wise) on a part. Well, it's always good to ask for opinions for help. I would actually want to buy the more expensive ones, but like some/most people in the forums say, "It's not worth the money you spend for little gains".
Thanks, any help is much appreciated

Sorry for the late reply, been busy. Coated? Sorry, not too familiar with what you mean.
Thanks

Ceramic coated, keeps underhood temps down which is good if you ever want to go F/I or big power.

I've been toying with the idea of headers also. Here's a question for you guys who are smart on this subject...... What real difference is there between the aftermarket headers and the stock headers? Looking at them in pictures they seem to be almost identical. How are aftermarket shorty headers better than the stock ones? Thanks!
