yeah kind of, i just want the best for my stang but if I might just stay with the stock rear end if fords going to want more than 500 to do it

It varies as the amount of crookedness going on varies from one dealership to another.
There is no Ford book time listed for putting an 8.8 into a 7.5" equipped vehicle.
Its just not a factory approved repair.....
They have free reign over the actual cost. And they make their $$ that way.
So dealership for mods equals rip off unless you have a buddy working at one....

It being a Ford dealership doesn't necessarily make it the best for your mustang. There are several shops that specialize in mustangs or I would be fine trusting any reputable mechanic with experience in rear-end swaps and repair

Yep, most Ford dealership mechanix have
never even seen a ring and pinion except in a book...

be SMART with your money. education worth more than what you have. don't get bamboozeled by shops or vendors trying to burn you for extra cash. good luck.
