Hi guys,

I've just installed a HO Procharger Kit on a 2008 V6 with 5-speed manual.

After the reflash with the SCT tune that came in the kit, the car won't rev past 4k rpm, nor in driving and nor on neutral. It's a rev limiter for sure...3990 rpm in all gears.
The rev limits in the sct are set to 4k rpm neutral and 6150 rpm drive. If I try to change these limits, there is no effect...the car won;t rev past 4k rpm no matter what values I set in the tune.

Also, after the reflash, the car starts without having to press the clutch pedal like it did with the stoc tune.

I called procharger, they said to call SCT. I called SCT, they told me to call procharger....

Any ideeas ?

Is the TUNE for an automatic or manual? Sounds like it might be for an automatic!

FWIW, you'd really want a good custom tune from a reputable tuner, instead of relying on a 'canned' tune from procharger. And yes, you'd need to work it out with procharger to make sure they got you the proper tune. SCT can't help.

thas is what I thought also...the tune seems to be for an automatic...the worse problem is that nobody asked my what kind of transmision do I have when I made the order...

problem solved....the tune was for an automatic .... they sent me a correct tune
