V6 BASHERS!
I've had comments like that about our 06 Pony Package.
I usually just shrug it off...but one time I replied to the moron: "Should I just go home...pick up either of our three V8 Mustangs...and come back here to impress you?"
Blank stare...no words...I stood there waiting for an answer...Honestly...I lit a smoke waiting for an answer...finally he turned around and walked to the bus stop...LOL
My wife and I have three Mustangs:
A 1970 Mach One which was the first car I ever owned...bought in 1982...I'm the second owner and doubt I'll ever sell it.
A 1990 LX 5.0 hatch...only car we ever bought brand new...wicked car...an engine with 2 seats on it...not comfy tho and lots of squeaks and rattles.
A 2002 GT...we bought it in 2003...nice car (its red to match Vicki's hair lol)...I think thats why we own it...
But our 06 Pony Package is by far my FAV of the group. Fun to drive, looks awesome, decent gas mileage...anyone who dumps on a V6 Mustang has no clue what they are talking about....
Just my 2 cents...
Glenn

The best encouragement I can give is the note writer
got a pen out and a piece of paper instead of keying
her all down the side.
I believe you know the note writer and there is more
to this 'note' than either you or I can figure out.
Run the campus security cameras back and figure
this one out.
I get it so bad that I got the plate SOFAKING to ward of the neysayers...

I pulled into home depot about a week ago and some guy with a riced out cobalt there was talking to his friends. As I walked by them I heard one say "Its only a GT" and the other one said "but it has drag radials on it" and the other one replied "so".
Unless you have a GT500 built up by Saleen or Roush, someone will say something.
Also, I like the V6s! They have all the Mustang looks/handling but are better to drive on a daily basis.

The basic V6 really lacks in that deptment when
compared to the amount of HP available to the driver...

Now put some basic GT suspension items under there and
it actually handles better than a stock GT on stock tires....

I've had 2 v6s in the past and have no regrets. NOONE has said anything negative about them to my face, mostly over the forums or behind my back. That should indicate they're not worth any extra thought or energy.
