I have Flowmaster 40's on my Stang, and I went back and had them place glass packs between the Cats and 40's seems to have helped my problem which was it was way too loud inside, also it smoothed the sound out somewhat. Also did you removed your battery terminal to allow your PCM to reset with the new exhaust? Don't know if this would help you out any, just thought I would throw it out there.

I've ridden in 2 V6's that has duals. One had aftermarket ones and the other had GT duals. They both sounded great and ran really nice. I say put 'em on.

If you want an answer on what kind of pipe to get, get the X-Pipe. It's more free-flowing than an H-Pipe.
