nOT A SHOP.
tHAT RESULTS IN A LEAKY RADIATOR ASSEMBLY FROM WHERE
THEY WRENCH THE STUCK ON HOSES OFF.
fricken caps lock...

They cause more leaks than they prevent corrosion damage....

Is your tranny shifting slowly, or is it slipping? I think the manual says 60k for the tranny fluid right? IMO, if your coolant is brown and chunky, you should change that and have the tranny fluid changed by a qualified mechanic.

i wont use 'flush' chemicals when doing a coolant flush; just run clean water though the system and let it drain. I''ll usually let the car run, radiator cap open, radiator drain open, and keep feeding water in the radiator from a water hose, keeping plenty of water in the tank while not overflowing it. Run the car about 5 minutes when it heats up enough to open the thermostat and circulate through. Cut car off, let water work through then stop and drain it all. Refill with antifreeze and distilled water.

For tranny, its a good idea to replace the fluid and filter. That's a little more difficult, and any reputable tranny shop or dealer should be able to do it for around $100 with fluid.

The odometer and the scheduled maintance guide will tell you....
Unless your fluid is brown and burnt smelling....
