Id go with the V8. Not any V8 id get thr new 5.0. Yes it does have 412 Hp and i understands you are used to a 90 Hp accord but honestly its not that hard. When i turned 16 i drove moms honda for about a year then went to dads 1966 charger with a built 383 no problem. I bought my mustang when i turned 18 but i didnt have a bunch of money to buy it cash so i had to finance one and they wouldnt approve me for a GT so i got the six. I have put alot of money in my car and its fast for a v6 but i always think what if i would have done all this to a GT. I love my V6 and im probably keeping it forever but if i had to do it again i would have tried harder to get the V8. And as for the power, its all in the foot. Be smart responsible and know your limits. If you dont floor it it can feel like your 90HP honda just sounds better lol. good luck

I would go with the V6. I've got a 17 year old son, and I have to say that there's no way I'd let him near the GT. Heck, I bought a V6 after test-driving the GT because I knew that I'd be in perpetual trouble if I bought it. Also, the new V6 are already over 300hp and should have all of the power that you'd ever need. I'd take this one step further and recommend that you buy a used Mustang, maybe 1-2 years old. Why not let the other guy take that whopping depreciation? You have to remember that cars aren't an investment or even an asset. They are always an expense. The only question is how much they are going to bleed you. You are pretty young to get upside down in a car loan. I'll bet you can find some sweet deals on a used 2010 right now.

coming from a 90HP car, I'd stick with the V6, 300+ HP is plenty, even for a person who is used to a more powerful car. Plus you can't beat the combination of pure power and gas mileage!
