lol people are quirky about closing their hoods. I could never let it just drop from a few feet. I'm a set it down pusher myself.

Add the gas struts to keep it up and you really have a treat to close it. About 18" up and slam down!

Yeah, I have struts on mine too. I usually help it from about 6", without the extra help it won't latch completely. Dropping from higher than about 10-12" the struts hold it back a little bit.

Why don't you just push it down to the latch and then push a little harder once its there? It'll close. God bless the hood slammers lol.

i could never imagine slamming my fiberglass hood. mostly cause i dont want it to crack. but then i got my hood struts so i cant even drop it if i wanted to. and since hood pins, i have to make sure it goes down nicely. anyways, i just set mine down and then gently apply pressure and it latches closed.
