also it does it more on hot days than cold. Maybe because there is a seal that expands in the heat? I have no technical knowledge to back that up its purely speculative.

Yea just run it up to Cherokee Ford or Jim Tidwell and ask them how much it would cost to put the more updated firware on the ECU if it costs anything at all. I'm thinking about doing it.

If you decide to do it, let me know what they say. I just dropped $600 on a new dishwasher, so the mods are on hold for a little while. =-(

I have the high idle problem too. Usually first thing in the morning on the way to work. Never got a light on mine though.

Default Hey Guys! Please check this out!

Today is hotter than yesterday and car was running good until I turn on the AC, then the RPM's drop to about 500rpm like the car was going to shut down! I turned off the AC and the rpm's went back up to 780 or so! I was first thinking that the hot weather and the supercharger was overheating something on the car, but I see that people without superchargers are having the same problem!

I'll try the car again with the AC on and let it die and see if any new codes comes up!

Thats the only time it really happens to me, ECU just needs to be reflashed to a newer firmware its not that big of a deal to me.
