Aftermarket Stereo
Has anyone tried installing this or any other aftermarket stereo?

I literally just finished installing a whole system within the last month. Me and a friend installed it all, all i had to do was bribe him with some beer. It wasn't too difficult, just time consuming. We installed a new head unit, all new speakers including a component set up from which meant drilling a 2+ inch hole in the door panel. Also put in my custom sub so it fits on that small ledge in the trunk right behind the seat on the right side of the car. Ran 0gauge power wire and remote turn on down the driver side, and speaker and rca's down the passenger side of the car. And a 5ch kicker amp to power everything
.
Let me know if you have any questions. It was a solid 2 1/2 days to do all that, Im sure it could be done quicker but running wire takes time and im not a pro.

The only problem I have is that I really like the fit and finish of the factory center console. It is one of the best and most noticeable improvements that Ford made with the Mustang interior. Nothing against the 05 to 09 owners here because I had an 06, but the new interior is a vast improvement. I wouldn't mind replacing my factory speakers though and that of course has already been covered on some threads around here. If they made an improved head unit that fit behind the factory dash I would seriously consider that.
