Default Radiator Fan Question

I installed a C&L CAI and 91 octane tune about a month ago and ever since then, it sounds like my radiator fan is constantly running and is very loud.

Is it supposed to be like this or is something wrong...? Thank you!

You should be able to use the handheld to find the fan setting (it's user adjustable). I can't recall what the factory default temperature is but I'd contact your tuner and mention it to them. You should be able to adjust it to suit you, assuming that's the problem.

If I can, I'll try to find the info. I believe it's buried in one of the stickies...

But thats a good thing.
Not running is what I would worry about.

If I recall correctly, the information pursuant to the 93 Octane tune that I received was to kick the fan on considerably earlier than stock to keep underhood temps lower. Not a bad idea actually.

Aside from that, perhaps keep a close eye on your temp gauge just to ensure you're not running a bit on the warm side.

My tune lowered the temp that the fan kicks on for the reasons mentioned. It's normal, if it bothers you, you can use the tuner to raise the temp. I would leave it though.
