V6 takes the win.
So today I was on a nice closed course leaving my job. I come to a stop light and an black SN95 GT pulls up next to me, I had my windows down, and I get the usual, "nice, is that the 2011 v6". No I said its a 2010, the guy is like oh you should of waited to get the 2011 305 horsepower man, he than says you wana go pointing at the light? So i said sure, I was interested to see if how my car would stand up to the SN95. I see the turning arrow turning yellow and I know ours is going to be green with in a few seconds, I rev to about 2800rpms, light turns green I launch. I had a little wheel spin off the line, but I can tell the t-lok is doing its job, I jumped on the GT about a half car length, he spun more. I grab first and throw it into second and tires chirp, the GT's nose hops in front of mine, once in second i pull on him a half of car, I shift into third, pull a little more. All said and done we went up to about 85-90 we had to brake due to us catching up to traffic. I had a little more than a half of car on him the entire time. a nice win for the 4.0.. cant say what mods this guy had all I could tell was the exhaust, deff wasn't stock and sounded pretty sweet.
gotta love those 3.73's

Nice!
I had a guy in some year SN95 GT with exhaust and intake work run from me on a highway when I was behind him, I caught him quickly and passed him, he then turned off the highway and took a parallel road for the next few miles where I stopped watching him. Our cars aren't bad with a few mods, they just aren't new GT's.
I've noticed that with Mustangs it seems that a current generations V6 is as fast as 2 generation old GT (usually)

Yeah I lost to an SN95 the other day. It wasn't a serious race, of course. He was heavily modified, I could tell. I just have a CAI and a tune. We were playing around for a few miles until we hit a light. He was several car lengths ahead pretty quickly, lol. Like I said though, it was just fun.
