Default Ford Racing suspension "pack" for a V6 convertible?

Recently I test drove a 2011 Miata. No, I'm not trading in the stang.

I was impressed with how well the miata responded in curves and overall driving, and I was thinking of improving the mustang's suspension with a ford racing pack. Heck, the car will eventually need shocks, right?

However, they don't appear to have one for a 2006 V6 convertible. A V6 coupe, yes. A Gt yes, a gt convertible yes.

I called Ford racing and they recommended the V6 package, although I might get more of a "drop" out of it due to the heavier weight of the convertible vs the coupe.

Has anyone on the forum improved their mustang V6 converible with one package or the other?

hotparts.com
I went with Vogtland Springs, they are made in Germany, they do Porsche, Mercedes and that Euro sort of ride, they did some spring sets for S197 Mustang 05+, I did the GT Leveling Springs, not the V6 springs....an inch in the rear and 3/4" or so in front....
Worked out great....did not want drop it too much.....

Bilstien non-adjustable struts and shocks......

Hotpart was VERY helpful!!!! They have spring and strut/shock packages....as I remember....

Extreme knowledge of Mustang suspension and reasonable.......

my .02 another VERT....

That package is alright.. but you can get a better system for less or the same amount.

Vogtland springs are good, but they seemed kind of soft for my liking. Another choice is H&R's (beware they low it 1.5-1.7 inches), also German made.

If you want an adjustable shock, go for some Tokico D-specs, very nice ride and great adjust ability.

You'll might also need a new adjustable panhard bar to align the rear axle (might shift left/right due to lowering), and some camber bolts for alignment. Don't know why that isn't included in the FRPP package..

I wouldn't dog a miata to much, if you have seen a spec miata race then you will know, I will be going with d-specs with either steeda springs or h&r springs next, or possibly just jump into coilovers, and if I had to guess the gt parts would fit the v6, the only difference would be the little additional weight the gt has.
