I have 10% tint on my windows and when I was living back east for a bit I must of got pulled over for it at least once a week haha. When I explained that I had just came back from Vegas they were very nice about it though.

I'd say go for 20 or 15, I've got 30/15 front/back and wish I went a bit darker on the front, no trouble with cops, driven past quite a few with windows up

Hrm, really? In which part of the state (northern, central, southern)? I was going to go with the legal (50% up front) just to be safe, but I think that's barely noticeable. I figured I would press my luck a little and try 35% since it is noticeably darker but will still make it easy for me to drive in the dark.

I have 15% on mine, but the cops are a little more laid back in CA. Usually if i see a cop, id roll my windows down. I'd definately go with 20% or less. Otherwise its not worth it IMO.

i have 15% all the way around and 5% on windshield stripe never been pulled over but anything higher then 20% and its not gonna be worth the difference.
