Default First Upgrade

Just looking for some opinions, which would be better first upgrade,

JLT CAI and a BAMA Tune

or

Ford Racing Dual Exhaust, NO TUNE

Just curious what others think.

Thanks!

Also, have you heard anything good/bad about the SC Coil?

Looking for cheap upgrades, leading to quality performance, on a budget

CAI/tune hands down.

BTW, don't spend the extra on Ford's duals. You can have them done at a shop for less then the Ford pipes alone cost.

Then, I guess it all depends on what you are after. If you don't care about extra power but you really hate the sound of the V6, you might as well do the duals first. Hell, if power doesn't matter to you, you might even want to spend the money on an appearance mod, such as stripes or rear window louvers.

Personally, I prefer to increase performance before I make my car look/sound fast. Something like actually having the power, instead of merely looking/sounding like you do.

Happy modding!

hopefully this doesn't double post.but if your looking for sound the right axleback will make a world of difference I like the Mrt aeroturbine or the muffler I have on my car,it came off a parnelli jones mustang that was wrecked on craigslist(if anyone knows what kind of mufler it is let me know).

Blue steel brings up a good point. You can always get just an axleback for now and later get full duels. Then you can have a CAI/tune and an ok exhaust note.

Personally I like the sound of the MAC mufflers, both as duals, and as a single axleback.

If you want performance then the CAI and custom tune is the only way to go unless you can afford to SC. Exhaust work won't gain squat performance wise.

Ok, so I'm definitely going with the CAI and Tuner,

But seriously, does anyone know anything about the Screaming Demon coil? I've heard people claim a ten hp boost just because they were able to open the sparkplug gap up a little bit. Is this all true, or just a waste of time?

Thanks

The CAI intake is a great performance booster over the exhaust. In my opinion you should go with the performance then the sound!

My friend has the Steeda CAI and tune on his 10 Mustang and he has been very happy with the performance and quality. Just a suggestion, you wont be dsappointed with whoever you go with.
