Just wanted to update, reinstalled oil seperator on correctside... also I noticed quite a bit of oil on the PCv connector

Excellent. Make sure you use the higher strength hose as JimC mentioned. You should catch a spoon full every 400-500 miles.

How many miles on your stang? Sounds to me that you need a PVC. That's the reason why I asked if you cleaned your intake and coated with oil, but you're stating that it's engine oil. Something to keep in mind. :P

67009 miles inside the pcv tubing was oil but inside the cai. Was air filter oil

Ah, yes. Over-oiling the air filter is easy to do.

The problem with oil getting through the pcv valve, it gets in the intake, works its way back toward the TB, and cakes up on the egr tube. yuk. A filter on the passenger side works wonders.
