traction lock is an option not standard. traction lock is not the same nor included with traction control system. traction lock is same as limited slip or posi-traction type rear ends. it mechanically transmits energy to the wheel with the most traction in slippery conditions. tracion control applies a brake at the wheel with the least traction and may chop the throttle depending on severity of slippage. they can be ordered together but i am not sure of any advantage to do so.

traction lock is listed as optional in the dealer lit. easiest way to tell is look at rear end cover. traction lock will have a metal tag attached to one of the bolts indicating need for additive for fluid . or get both wheel off the ground, turn one and watch the other traction lock will turn the same direction and non-traction lock will turn the opposite direction.

i'll have to retract the V6 availability of traction lock. i was positive the lit showed both. i don't have it here at work but the option list at Edmunds indicates traction control only available. i hate it and turn it off when i remember to. chopping the trottle is quite bothersome when you want to keep your foot in it.
