Premium steering wheel on a non premium car?
Hey I am new to this forum but not new to Mustangs. I do have a question though. Would I be able to use a leather wrapped premium steering wheel on a base model car. By the looks of things, everything is the same with the exception of the button layout. The base model just has cruise control like the 05 and up did. With the premium, it has cruise control and volume control for the stereo. The one I am looking at does not have the sync controls so I am not worried about that. Can I use a steering wheel like the premium one and still be able to retain my cruise controls or what?

2010-2012 Mustangs are the same thing when it comes to non-performance parts. In this case, the steering wheels are the same. Heck, there's some peeps on here who have put a 2010+ steering wheel on a 2005-2009 Mustang with minor modifications and vice-versa. The only extra buttons the GT500 and premium steering wheels have are the the volume and Sync buttons. The steering wheel is really easy to swap, but those volume/media buttons won't work unless you get your PCM flashed by a Ford dealer.
