Default E3 plugs

I have a slight miss every so often and I still have stock plugs so it about time to change them after 88k. I was considering going to E3s but a friend of mine who races methonal go carts say the scorche pistons. I know they are different motors and fuels but has anyone else had any experience with these plugs

A friend tried those - and had problems with his car. So I'd listen to your friend and just stay with the stock autolite 5143's. They are a good plug, lots of us running forced induction still run those as well.

Unless you know someone with an identical vehicle who can vouch for
spark plugs that are heavily promoted and promise extra horsepower
and fuel mileage, it's best to avoid them, as these spark plugs rarely
fulfill the claims made — and always, you will be paying more in the
price for the promotion that makes you think you need them than
the cost to manufacture the actual spark plugs!

Look under hood on your emissions label, or in owner's manual. It's been a few years, but the stock gap is 0.043 I think. Maybe 0.045.
