Hi everyone. I am new to the mustang forums. My buddy has a 07 4.0L standard trans mustang. The other day his car started acting up on him. It was lacking throttle response, and the car died on him going down the road. He said it would start back up but it would die after only a few minutes. After limping it home it finally quit starting all together. At first I told him it was ignition coil but he needed to pull the codes.
P061C-Internal control module ignition RPM Performance
P2110-Throttle actuator control system-force limited RPM
P0122
P0223- Sensor B
P0352- ignition coil B Primary/ Secondary circuit.
A guy told him to replace the TPS and that took 3 of the codes away but he didnt tell me which ones and no start. Then we replaced the ignition coil and the car still wont start and the PCM isn't throwing any codes. I am at a loss now. The car will turn over all day long. He got the battery tested and it is good. On sure about the alternator though. Unless oriellys sold him a bad ignition coil? ( i have had it happen to me in the past). Any ideas?
