Pzeros will always be my favorite, they can handle moderately bad weather as long as you're careful, and tread life is just as good (in my experience) as any other performance tire (and even some economy ones), my first set lasted me about ~30K miles, and still had about 1/4 of their tread left.
That said, I have quite a few friends with continental extreme contact dws tires and they tell me they love them- grip of a summer tire, but they can handle heavy rain/light snow and freezing temps... Anything below 45 deg. and my pirellis are hockey pucks.

In snow, the only thing that'll keep you and the Stang safe (except from other boneheads) are dedicated winter tires and about 150-200 lbs in the trunk. All-season tires are marginally better than summer tires, which isn't saying much. Get yourself a decent tire for summer and cool weather (most summer tire compounds are dangerous below about 45 degrees) and dedicated winter tires for... winter.

My only comment, and not specifically about the Nitto, is that many people buy a performance tire and don't drive a style that requires that kind of performance. If you do, then Nitto is great. If not, there are less expensive tires that can suit a more "mild" driving style and will last longer. Just do your homework. But if money isn't an issue, then take your pick.

Treadwear numbers indicate the tires performance level, sort of.
The lower the number, the softer the rubber compound and shorter life
but performs better than lets say a higher treadwear numbered tire.
I like 200 and below tires for highly spirited driving.
A 400 or better will last longer for the casual tire spinner and perform well
in daily under the speed limit driving.
I dont drive on snow or ice so the low treadwear number is not a factor
for me in the colder months.

Check out tirerack.com. Not the cheapest but there is tons of info and reviews on loads of different brands. Do a little research there and it is likely you will be happy with what you end up choosing. I know I am.
