Default 2011 GT & v6 mufflers interchangeable??

Have a great opportunity for a Borla S Type axle back from a 2012 GT, to put on my 13 v6.

they are diff part#s, but look identical to me. Anyone know for sure if this will work with little to no modification?

Any mufflers that will fit on the GT if its 2005-2009 or 2010-2013 will fit on the V6 as long as you have dual exhaust (05-09).

just to be certain, this is an axleback not just the mufflers themselves.

There must be a reason they change part #s

I thought the GT and V6 had different size exhausts in 11+ ?

That was my understanding too xenocide. The GT is a 3" and the V6 is 2.5" which made the swap not a 'plug and play' like the 2005-2009

Yeah, I don't think that just reducing the pipe would make it work tough, they flow differently because the internals are a different size also? correct me if I'm wrong.
