Got my 2012 Mustang convertible a few days ago. I'm wanting to know if buying a boot is worth the money? I'd like a more finished look when the top is down. what do you people with boots for your convert's think?
If you want a more finished look then it is worth it to you. On my 2006 I never took it out of the plastic bag. When I ordered the 2013 I didn't bother to order one, but then had a chance to pick one up for $75 so decided to grab it. I've used it twice for a show and a cruise.
What I'd prefer to get is one of the hard cover ones that are available aftermarket. I think that a user Torch Vert has one on his car.
imo I say get it, not only does it make it look clean but when driving it wont create wind noise because the air in not entering the area where the top tucks in.
I ended up buying a boot off eBay for $115 but it didn't come with instructions. Does anyone have the instructions for installing on a 2012 convert? I'm beginning to wonder if I got the correct boot.
