Putting an OEM navigation in
Hello, I have a 2014 V6 Premium without the navigation/electronics package. If I am able to find a junk yard with the dash panel with the touch screen and controls, is it possible to take my dash panel out and put that one in its place?

Very Possible, here is a complete write up, and pretty sure Jim even has all the parts needed and maybe even where to source them http://forums.themustangsource.com/f...em-nav-516988/
Sorry to the Mods, it is a link to another forum and I normally will not do that, but it is the most complete I have have found.

Without the brain, a screen is just a screen. It's like having the screen to your cell phone without the rest of the supporting hardware...useless. What the seller has is a replacement screen in case the OEM one that came with your system is damaged somehow. Don't try to piecemeal the system. It will cost you more if you do it that way versus just buying everything you need in a kit or something.

The description from the seller says ford gps screen without sync and nav, display only. Is that the right thing?
if you read the thread linked earlier, you'll see that you need:
1) the FDIM (screen)
2) the ACM (nav radio; the nav engine is in here)
3) the trim bezel
3) the FCIM (button panel)
4) the CCM (climate control module; the non-nav cars had manual controls, nav cars had auto)
5) a big honkin' wire harness
6) a bunch of other stuff
it just ain't worth it unless someone is generous enough to give you all of the required parts.

Go to American Muscle and look at their Raxiom Navigation System. It's just a simple plug n play that's really nice.
