Default goofy window

our 07 convertible has the drop windows when you open the door, it was working fine but the passenger side now doesn't go down far enough and rubs the top and a couple of times when opening the driver door the passenger window will drop down about halfway, any idea what could be going on?

Window reset procedure. Manual should have something like that too.

I see you live in Washington so that equals rain rain rain. if the above procedure doesn't help. check your passenger floor and see if its damp. the SJB (smart junction box) resides in the passenger side kick panel and if it gets wet it can cause all kinds of electrical issues. there are several TSBs about water intrusion into the S197. post back with your findings. good luck

the car just got a new top this summer and it fixed any leaks, carpets nice and dry I thought of the moisture issue and since it's only on the passenger side affected, and when the door is open you can push the window down to the spot, and when you close the door it pops right back where it's supposed to be I'm not sure that this is the problem, but it certainly could be, I'll keep checking, another silly question, when calibrating the passenger window, should I do it with the controller on the driver door or use the one on the passenger side? or does it matter?

you can try spraying some silicone spray down the window run channels. maybe its working fine but just hanging up. I would think either side switch would work but I think doing it from the drivers side is easier. good luck.
