Default Never. Never. Never!!!!

Never buy a cheap sensor!! I learned my lesson!! I picked a eBay , fuel rail pressure sensor 1 year ago thinking that because i don’t drive my car but maybe once a month it will be fine. Well what a $hit $how this turned out to be. Car crank but no start last Friday, strong smell of gas. Went to remove sensor to check fuel pressure and found gas in the vacuum line. Pulled sensor today and it came out in two pieces. Checked my oil about 1 qt of gas mixed in so I know my cylinders got washed out. Went to pull the plugs, yea right. I finally got 2 plugs out. Then I found that number 6 when I pulled the plug boot off ,the top part of the electrode came out of the plug. On top of that I can’t get a jack under my car to change the oil because of lowering kit and the Eleanor body kit. Now I’m not sure how all the extra raw fuel is going to effect my o2 sensors. So learn from my mistakes, a cheap part now will cost you in the end.

Yikes! Good but hard lesson to learn, that's why I said to stay away from the cheapos in your other thread. Motorcraft or Bosch only for this.

As the saying goes, a cheap part or cheap labor is never cheap......

For the broken plugs in the head, not very common for the S197 V6. GT's had an issue until about mid 2008 (build of late 07). Not sure if this tool will work for broken V6 plugs or not. :

Yeah, usually cheap for a reason. I learned that lesson on an in-tank fuel pump. I'll still buy cheap-er parts, but only if they come with a warranty, and are easily replaced.

Good to know for this sensor, thanks. I have a habit of buying the cheapest parts, to my understanding it's mostly fuel system stuff you gotta invest in for reliability. So far my TPS, throttle plate motor, coil pack, and o2 sensor are doing perfectly well, all around $12-30. My $100 set of control arms and sway bar links have been fine, but that one I do regret not investing more into... pretty sure my camber and caster are a hair off lol.
